If you’re reading this, you’ve clearly been thinking about signing up for an improv class and we’re so happy you made it here. Improv teaches us to say yes to ourselves, each other, and the world around us, and find the gifts in any “failure.” It’s time to say YES AND to yourself and unlock your silly creative potential!
For those who shine in the spotlight & want to join our community of hilariously talented improvisers, our Performance Track is for you!
We don't mean to step on anyone's toes, but we have the best people at CATCh! Learn more about them all below!
Improv nerd, actor, writer, filmmaker, geek girl, IT whisperer, minor league humorist and generally opinionated broad.
Lover of the em dash, proponent of the serial comma and staunch defender of "literally" literally meaning "in the literal sense".
Alex is a hard working trust fund millennial who loves improvising to connect with the common folk. While the previous sentence is completely false, Alex feels improv is a great creative hobby that takes the edge off the monotony of everyday life.
From beginner to experienced improviser or fan, you can’t go wrong with a CATCh class or show.
See Alex perform in Improv Game Night and with Dear Diary!
Alexis began her improv career in 2021 at CATCh and is excited to be on stage! She has had a passion for comedy for a number of years. She has set up 185 blind dates in Charlotte and started a 30 under tennis league as well.
NYC native Alicia Marie is currently a member of Improv Game Night and ‘Therapy Adjacent’ at CATCh. She also performs with “That’s What She Said”, Charlotte’s first all female improv team.
When not avoiding the exercise bike in her office, wrestling her abnormally strong children and gaslighting her husband she enjoys chilling with friends and family, knitting, watching 90 Day Fiancé and performing improv.
Amber is a dramatic goofball both on and off the stage. During the day you can find her holding snakes and turtles for small children and at night you can find her teaching improv, going ballroom dancing, or curled up with a good book and her three precious kittens.
Delgado (Kevin) is an actor, writer and comedian based out of Charlotte, NC. His work has been featured on adult swim and a late night talk show called Good Evening Tonight. Having begun his improv journey 20 years ago as a child actor, he has studied in NYC, Chicago and most recently Atlanta.
Delgado mixes his irreverent wit with his years of experience to bring a captivating and hilarious style to his improv. CATCh(lol) him and many others performing at CATCh in Charlotte.
Elle is an IT manager by day and martial artist/geek-girl/gamer/party-goer/costumed-crime-fighter/improv- performer by night.
Elyse A. Williams is a professional actor with dozens of film, television and stage credits. BUT… she was terrified of doing improv UNTIL she signed up for her first CATCh class and the rest is history. After taking Level One, Level Two (twice) and Level Three, she was chosen to join the first team to come out of CATCH classes, Third Place Brenda. That was 4 years ago and TPB is going strong!
Just last year, Elyse joined another CATCh favorite, a short form team for the ever popular, Improv Game Night. Since she’s no longer terrified, Elyse took CATCh’s Stand-up Comedy course and is now fearlessly performing on open mic stages throughout the region.
Eric started his improv journey back in 2005 when he was making YouTube videos but was too lazy to write scripts. In college and afterwards, he acted in various community theater productions and hosted a variety of podcasts. Since 2022, he has combined his love of being on stage with his inability to do prep work.
Genevieve is a Designer with an insatiable appetite for all things ART. Joining Improv was another notch in her Creativity Belt. When she’s not performing or remodeling homes, she’s creating elaborate dinner parties that will leave your mother asking, “Is this a wedding?” and your father asking, “Who’s rich funeral is this?"
Juan’s first improv class was September 2021, through CATCh. Because Level 1 was such fun, he decided to continue and is now a proud member of a CATCh House team. He has been told that he paid for the new signage due to the number of classes he has taken.
Before becoming a badass improvisor, Juan has been a Mechanical Engineer, a Patent Attorney, and a Criminal Defense Attorney. Improv is so much more fun than anything he has ever done. One of his only regrets in life is that he had not found his love for improv sooner.
P.S., The P.R.A. in his name are his middle initials, Pedro Roberto Aguilar.
P.P.S., Juan strongly believes that everyone and anyone should take a Level 1 Improv Class and that it should absolutely be through CATCh if you are in the Charlotte area.
Kaia joined the improv scene in Minneapolis at the age of 15 and has never been quite the same since. She moved to Charlotte in 2018 and happily joined the amazing community of students and performers at CATCh.
See Kaia onstage on the 4th Saturday of every month with Therapy Adjacent!
Born with a flare for the dramatic, Katie has yet to find a stage she didn’t love. This Charlotte unicorn joins the casts of Game Night and Dear Diary with well over a decade of musical theater performance experience. Where she once found comfort in meticulously choreographed dance numbers and perfect harmonies, she’s found the unpredictable nature of improv to be a magic carpet ride she hopes will never end.
Katie is thrilled to have found such a vibrant, welcoming improv community and looks forward to laughing with you in the audience or in her Intro to Improv classes at CATCh.
Kevin has been doing improv since the beardless age of 14! Now, fully bearded and beautifully balded, Kevin co-owns and operates the Comedy Arts Theater of Charlotte.
Having studied and performed in NYC and here in Charlotte, Kevin brings tons of goofy experience to the CATCh stage!
Loves smilin' and improvisin' especially when she's hanging out with Third Place Brenda manager, Mr. Strange, and their 16 yo fur baby Charlie. :)
Spay and neuter your pets!!
Lindsey Hawkins began her improv journey in the summer of 2021. She was looking for something to shake up her life after enduring 2020 (weren't we all?!). Even though she walked through the doors of CATCh incredibly nervous, she's now hooked! After going through CATCh classes, Lindsey performs with Dear Diary. She describes her style of comedy as "accidentally funny."
Lindsey is originally from the Charlotte area and a UNC-Chapel Hill alum. Yes, her southern accent is authentic. After starting her career in television news, she now spends her days working in corporate communication. Lindsey loves trying new restaurants, streaming new TV shows and trying to convince friends to share their deepest, darkest secrets.
Lisa is fulfilling her lifelong dream as declared on the Mr. Knozit show when she was six to become a rich ballerina...or she will be on that magical day when an improv scene calls for it.
Until then she spends her time listening to listeners for a living, popping sustainable bubble wrap, and devising ways she can convince the world to let her be the Grand Marshall of the Oxford Comma Parade.
Mary prides herself on her ability to stress about writing bios for websites. She's a West Virginian Italian, hair stylist, business owner, dog lover and outside lover. She met her life partner in Brooklyn on a weekend trip with friends, which is very hipster of her.
If she's not doing improv or styling hair, she's probably watching Parks and Rec. She loves to call herself a reader. She's not yet, but damn does she love to call herself one.
She says improv saved her life because therapy was getting too expensive, which makes being on the improv team, Therapy Adjacent, all the more poetic.
Mo is Charlotte’s top* up-and-coming Persian comedian. Neither cat nor rug, he is certified as 100% organic human. Mo has been greatly influenced by two things in life; improv and pork belly. While his search continues for a pork belly meetup group, he proudly joined the CATCh improv family where he’s trained since 2021.
He dreams about being featured on the cool gigs other comedians have on their bios. Come to CATCh to see him perform with Situationship on the 4th Saturday of each month and follow him on Instagram at @yakhorami.

Paige started her first improv class in 2021 to meet people and have a laugh. Little did she know, her usual moody attitude would slowly fade away and she couldn’t help but smile. Besides dropping a random F-bomb on stage, Paige’s favorite thing about improv is the community itself. She has become hooked!
Outside of improv, you can find her trying to steal cute dogs and eating her way through Charlotte.
Her improv team, Situationship, performs every fourth Saturday of the month! Buy your tickets now but leave your dog at home… Paige is easily tempted.
Peter began his improv journey in 2012 at the Magnet Theater in New York City. He performed there with house team Big Whoop for several years before moving to Charlotte in January of 2023. Peter currently performs with CATCh's Therapy Adjacent and coaches CATCh's House Team, Dear Diary. He feels grateful to have found a community at CATCh and hopes you're having a great day!
